In late 2011, Canada started replacing their paper-cotton $100 notes with bills made of polymer plastic! And soon the plastic versions of the $50 and $20 bills also followed.While the plastic bills are innovative and are packed with a lot of security features, they've also had their fair share of problems.
The money feels like a board game currency note. The bills also tend to stick together in ATMs, and sometimes the bills melt in extreme heat!
